Brainstorm
Here tell you what I was thinking for my CD cover and trying to convert it into a proper plan
Photographic Aplication
This is a power point on me researching different types of photography and researching professional photographers who specialise in that area of photography. I also have examples of their work.
Continuation of Photographic Applications
Analysing CD Covers
I picked music genres and researched artists in that area. Followed by this I looked at their CD covers and compafred them to eachother. After I looked at them individually and analysed them.
Conclusion of CD Cover Analysis -
"My Target Audience"
![Picture](/uploads/1/7/0/3/17035272/5609257.jpg?164)
I am basing my target audience at the teenage group. I am hoping to attract a fan base of 13- 18 years. I am also hoping to attract those who are rock fans. My CD cover will be based under the music genre of rock. I am hoping some of my target audience won't be discouraged by dark colours. I say this as my album will follow the colours of Black, White and Red. This I understand is a very good technique of joint colours and is very good fo rock covers as ou can see in my powerpoint above. It will fit well with the ideas I am going for in my CD cover.
Analysing My Target Audience!
After researching CD Covers and doing some ideas for my CD Cover, I came up with a target audience from the age of 13 - 24. What I have been doing is going to ask people around this age to get there opionion on CD Covers, my ideas and what they would add or change. Eventhough my Cover is based at Rock fans. I am asking people who just aint rock fans because they can have ideas that are relevent to rock and asking a variety of music fans on CD Covers can give a wide range of opinin and can improve ideas better.
Using Photoshop
Before doing a practice cover of my plan, I used photoshop and played around with it using different tools and elements to learn what I am doing and this is what I did using photoshop.
CD Cover Ideas!
I have done drawing of potential ideas for my CD Cover. With these drawings I done a practice version on photoshop.
Practice Mock Up On Photoshop
This is a Practice version of a CD Cover I made similar to my Sketch.
Contract
This explains what I will and wont do with photos and have had it read and agreed by me and the model.
Risk Assesment
Here tells you dangers in the area I am taking my photos and what I will do to fix it.
Pre - Shoot
Before I do my professional shoot with my model, I paired up and done a practice shoot. We went in the green room and done different poses with different angles of lighting to test effects. This can give us a visual look at what we plan and can help us adapt our ideas. We firstly learned on what the D-SLR camera has and learned its pros and cons. Followed by this we done poses and took shots. After looking back at the photos we realised that yeah lighting is important for a shot. However, it wont be as effective if the focus isnt delivered properly.
Plan
Down here explains what I plan to do
Professional Photo Shoot
